EAGAS HEATING

Landlord Certification

We are Gas Safe Registered Gas Cooker & Gas Fire Installation Engineers.

The landlord gas safety certificate, commonly known as CP12, is the basic document, proving that a property is gas safe and was inspected for gas safety during the twelve months. The certificate is valid for one year and needs to be renewed on an annual basis. This can be done before the expiry of the current certificate, preferably during the last two months of the validity of the current certificate. Landlords are legally required to provide this certificate to the tenants within 28 days after the date of inspection. Landlords may have to face legal proceedings in the absence of this important document.

The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 specify that landlords have a duty to ensure that all gas boilers and other appliances are safe and functional. If your annual gas safety check is due or nearly up for renewal, our gas engineers would be delighted to carry out the necessary checks for you. All the team at EAGAS are Gas Safe registered and have years of experience dealing with domestic gas boilers as well as ancillary appliances and pipework.

Along with being Gas Safe registered, we are also a member of OFTEC. All our gas engineers are fully trained to the latest safety standards.

TESTIMONIALS

What our clients
say about our
services

David has helped sort out our troublesome heating system which required a fair bit of investigation to get to the bottom of. Nothing was too much trouble and our experience was a friendly, professional and efficient service. Highly recommend EAGAS and thank you for removing such a big stress over the winter months!
